You can screw it using your hand. If you use a wrench you may over tight it which may strip its threads and cause a leak. Similarly, the screws should also not be loose as it may cause a leak too. So just tighten it till your hands can turn it no more. • Fill the new oil Next, you can open the oil fill cap and pour in the oil using a funnel to avoid any spills. Find out from your owner’s manual how much oil your engine holds. Fill in the required amount of oil. Then you have to check the oil to know the oil level. If you think it is less than the required amount then you have to add more until you are satisfied with the oil level. Make sure you close the filter with the oil cap. This is very important as we may forget to do that and the result will be disastrous. Spare enough time to do the oil change as it has to be done slowly and carefully.
